Service Description
Spring Semester (10 classes) Age Group: 8-11 years old Class is held Wednesday evenings from 5-6pm Class Dates: APR 19, 26, MAY 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, JUN 7, 14 & 21 Semester Fee: $282.50 ($250+hst) About: Our kids lessons explore the fundamentals of painting & drawing, and are suitable for ages 8+Up. We will explore famous artists and art periods as well as the elements of art & principles of design. We offer 3 semesters a year (Fall, Winter & Spring), with 10 classes in each semester. We will dabble in acrylics, watercolours, pencil crayons, pencil, charcoal, pastels, marker and more! Each student receives their own sketchbook to work out ideas, and learn the value of process work. Students are shown techniques, and encouraged to experiment, but above all we strive to have fun and enjoy the creative process! Our younger students (ages 8-11yrs old) will be provided with a new lesson for each class. Our older students (ages 12+up) are encouraged to use two classes per lesson. We understand that kids create art at different speeds and we encourage them go at their own pace. Those who wish to wear a mask are welcome to do so. Our teachers will not be required to wear masks, but all choices will be respected.
