Winter Semester (10 classes) Age Group: 8-11 years old Class is held Thursday evenings from 5:15-6:15pm Class Dates: JAN 11, 18, 25, FEB 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, MAR 7, 21 *NO CLASSES DURING MARCH BREAK (MAR 12/13/14)* Semester Fee: $282.50 ($250+hst) About: Our kids lessons explore the fundamentals of painting & drawing, and are suitable for ages 5+Up.  We will explore famous artists and art periods as well as the elements of art & principles of design.  We offer 3 semesters a year (Fall, Winter & Spring), with 10 classes in each semester.  Students register by the semester. We will dabble in acrylics, watercolours, pencil crayons, pencil, charcoal, pastels, marker and more!  Each student receives their own sketchbook to work out ideas, and learn the value of process work.  Students are shown techniques based on their age group, and encouraged to experiment, but above all we strive to have fun and enjoy the creative process! Small class sizes: Our small class sizes allow for each student to receive one-on-one attention & guidance from our Art Teachers regularly throughout the class.
