*Spring Dates & Details Below

To register email us at and we will confirm spaces available (registration is on a first come first serve basis).

Paint & Play workshops are designed to offer students from beginner to intermediate levels the freedom to play, loosen up and explore a variety of painting techniques using acrylics, without the worry of creating a 'masterpiece.'  Workshops are taught by Gallery Owner & Artist Kerry Walford.

"Using my own tried and true techniques we will explore the beautiful and intuitive process of painting the landscape together.  I will share a series of demonstrations using different techniques and providing my tips & tricks along with ample time for students to play & practice.  Each workshop will cover fundamentals (colour mixing & underpainting) and delve into more advanced techniques such as creating atmosphere, and choosing colours that pop!"

~ Kerry Walford

Using a limited palette of colours students will gain an appreciation and very good understanding of colour mixing.  Each workshop will explore techniques for creating an underpainting, colour blocking, layering, adding shadows, highlights and final details.  We will paint & play on paper, and canvas.  All art materials and supplies will be provided.

Art Supplies

The acrylic workshop comes with a take-home art kit (so that each student gets to keep their own brushes, paint, palette, etc...).  These Kits come with all the goodies needed in our workshop (paint, brushes, palettes, canvas, painting papers & more!
