About

Our Story
Kerry Walford and Adam Peet opened up Wildwood Art Gallery & Studio in their historic 1840’s built home in November of 2018. The couple discovered the home in 2015, and it was love at first sight. Shortly after having their daughter Clementine, Kerry decided to fully pursue her passion for painting. Walford specializes in oil paintings inspired mainly by the rural Ontario landscape.
The gallery showcases local emerging and established artists with a variety of art shows throughout the year including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media and more.
Kerry teaches children’s after-school art classes throughout the year as well as a series of adult painting workshops that explore some of her own painting techniques in oils & acrylics. Walford has partnered up with local businesses the Twisted Lemon and Concession Road Brewing Co. to host paint night style classes regularly throughout the year.
The home and gallery is a very inspiring space with large sun filled windows, high ceilings and old pine floors with lots of character. The couple describe the house as having a very positive energy and are happy to be able to share it with the community. The gallery has proven to be a great space for intimate house concerts as well as yoga which is taught regularly by local Cayuga resident Trisha Keesmaat.
