Our Story

Kerry Walford and Adam Peet opened up Wildwood Art Gallery & Studio in their historic 1840’s built home in November of 2018.  The couple discovered the home in 2015, and it was love at first sight.  Shortly after having their daughter Clementine, Kerry decided to fully pursue her passion for painting and opened up the gallery.  Walford specializes in oil paintings inspired by the rural Ontario landscape, to find out more visit KerryWalford.com

Pre-covid, our gallery was a hub for live events, including various art shows throughout the year, yoga, live music, and paint nights hosted at the gallery as well as at local businesses Twisted Lemon (Cayuga) & Concession Road Brewing Co. (Jarvis).

Since the onset of Covid we have adapted and prioritized our focus to the needs of the community and our family.  We've seen a great increase in the demand for in person classes, which we're thrilled to provide when possible.  Classes are taught by Artist/Owner Kerry Walford.  We offer in person art classes for kids ages 8+Up afterschool and paint workshops for adults throughout the year.  We're currently developing a new series of online art lessons so stay tuned!

Our gallery space and online shop is now focused on highlighting local emerging artists on a full-time basis.  We currently represent the work of local Artists & Artisans, Ingrid vanReenen, Jane Dickson, Arrowsmith Soap and Kerry Walford.  We will be adding more artists to our gallery in the coming months, so please stay tuned!

Curated art kits are another exciting new offering from the gallery, which will be available to pre-order through our online shop at select times throughout the year, to help bring quality art supplies at a great price to Haldimand County.
