About
Wildwood Art Gallery & Studio was founded by artist Kerry Walford and her husband Adam Peet in the fall of 2018. Tucked inside their historic and inspiring 1840s home in Cayuga, Ontario, Wildwood began as a dream to share art, creativity, and connection with their community.

After discovering the home in 2015 and falling in love with its character and charm, Kerry and Adam set out to create a space that would inspire others. Shortly after welcoming their daughter Clementine, Kerry made the leap to pursue painting full-time, and Wildwood was born. What began as a gallery for Kerry’s rural Ontario landscapes has since grown into a vibrant hub for local art and creativity. As word spread, so did the demand—especially for children’s art programming.

We quickly discovered just how much families were craving opportunities for their kids to express themselves, learn new skills, and explore their imaginations through art.

Today, Wildwood offers weekly after-school art classes for kids aged 5 and up, taught by passionate and experienced artists. We also offer a growing library of online painting tutorials, and a curated gallery featuring work by talented local artists and artisans including Ingrid vanReenen, Jane Dickson, CMBear, Peter Fischer, Trisha Keesmaat and Kerry Walford.
Through our online shop and in-person gallery, you’ll also find fine art prints, original paintings, and thoughtfully assembled art kits designed to bring creativity home to families in Haldimand County and beyond.

The gallery is open by appointment for art viewings or to discuss a special commission with Kerry in her studio. We’d love to welcome you—just reach out to book a time.
