Please Read Carefully

Policies, Terms & Conditions

Email

Due to the volume of students we have, the majority of our communication is done through email.  Please ensure you mark info@WildwoodCayuga.com as 'Safe' to ensure you receive our emails for updates.

Art Supplies & Suggested Clothing

All art supplies and materials are provided by Wildwood.  Aprons are provided, but we also advise children to wear clothes they can get messy in to be safe.

Student Code of Conduct

All students have the right to learn in a positive and creative environment. If any student disrupts the learning of others, or is disrespectful towards others,  parents/guardians will be notified. We will do our best to work with students and parents to create and safe and welcoming environment.  If disruptive behaviour cannot be resolved it will result in the student’s removal from classes with no reimbursement of fees.

If a Student Misses a Classes

Wildwood is unable to offer refunds for absences and/or missed classes that occur due to student illness or schedule conflicts. If space allows, we will do our best to offer a make-up class where possible, please inquire if you need to.

If Wildwood has to Cancel a Class (due to weather/teacher illness)

Should we need to cancel classes at Wildwood due to inclement weather or teacher illness the following methods are used to notify parents/guardians:

- An email is sent to all parents of students with classes on the day.

- Cancelations will also be posted on our website at www.wildwoodcayuga.com

- As a policy, when Grand Erie District Schools are closed due to inclement weather, all classes at Wildwood will be cancelled.

We will add a make-up class wherever possible, but there is no guarantee

If you are uncertain whether the classes are running, please feel free to contact us at 905 929 4902 or info@WildwoodCayuga.com

Photographs
From time to time, Wildwood takes photographs of our students at work for use on our website or for social media purposes. If you do not wish to have yourself or your child photographed, please inform the us in writing at the time of registration.

Refund Policy

We want your child to love our art classes. If our classes aren't the right fit, let us know within the first two classes (ideally, the sooner the better!) and we’ll work with you to figure out a solution or refund if need be.

Parents In Children’s Classes and Expectations
As a parent, you are welcome to take a few minutes to settle your child into a new class, but if a child cannot settle into a class on their own after 10 minutes we will request the parent and child leave the class and try again on the following class.  Should it not be possible for a parent to leave their child successfully in our classes, you may request a refund, as per our refund policy. Please note that the amount would be prorated relative to the number of classes remaining and administrative fees may apply.

If an instructor is concerned about your child’s ability to get the best out of the program, we will contact you to discuss next steps. Wildwood reserves the right to remove a child that is disrupting a program should it be in the best interest of ensuring other students’ ability to engage with the program.
