Kids Art Classes - Winter Registration Opens Dec 12th!

Our kids lessons explore the fundamentals of painting & drawing, and are suitable for ages 8+Up.  We will explore famous artists and art periods as well as the elements of art & principles of design.  We offer 3 semesters a year (Fall, Winter & Spring), with 10 classes in each semester.  We will dabble in acrylics, watercolours, pencil crayons, pencil, charcoal, pastels, marker and more!  Each student receives their own sketchbook to work out ideas, and learn the value of process work.  Students are shown techniques, and encouraged to experiment, but above all we strive to have fun and enjoy the creative process!

Our younger students (ages 8-11yrs old) will be provided with a new lesson for each class.  Our older students (ages 12+up) who typically like to take more time on projects are provided more detailed lessons with prompts and two classes per lesson or more as needed.

*No classes the week of March Break (MAR 14/15/16)

Tuesday classes: APR 18, 25, MAY 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, JUN 6, 13 & 20

Wednesday classes: APR 19, 26, MAY 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, JUN 7, 14 & 21

Thursday classes: APR 20, 27, MAY 4, 11, 18, 25, JUN 1, 8, 15 & 22

Semester Fees:

$250+hst ($282.50) ~ per Semester (10 classes) ~ All ages

Includes all supplies & a sketchbook

Student Art Show:

We host a Student Art Show to wrap up each semester, family & friends are welcome to come and see all the amazing art our students created!

Covid Safety & Protocols:

With the Ontario covid-mandates being removed we no longer require masks to be worn in the gallery space.  Those who wish to wear a mask are welcome to do so.  Our teachers will not be required to wear masks, but all choices will be respected.
